In order to transport the long-awaited COVID-19 vaccines in a safe, hygienic and refrigerated manner from production to the vaccination centres and store them properly there, special transport vehicles and containers are required. Impacts, impurities and, above all, temperature fluctuations must be avoided. Face sheets made of glass fibre-reinforced plastics (GRP) are assisting with this.

Only a few months ago, the product received the Pro-K Award.
The LAMILUX Glass Skylight F100 Circular has always been ventilated, but now concealed drives can also be integrated. In addition, a new type of upstand makes it possible to incline the element by three degrees. This has visual and functional advantages.
Refrigerated bodies with roofs and side walls made of fibre-reinforced composites (GRP) create optimal conditions for a temperature-controlled system that complies with the HACCP standard. LAMILUX has now developed a Gelcoat that conforms to HACCP certification for both direct and indirect food contact.
