Uw=1,7 W/(m²K) vs. Uw=3,1 W/(m²K) as per German Energy Performance of Buildings Directive 2009

Complete production plant rehabilitation due to very poor Uw values. All work was carried out while production continued as normal.

  • Continuous rooflights designed and installed with a Uw value of 1.7 W/(m²K) as per EN ISO 10077-1
  • Adapter frames to hold the new continuous continuous rooflight systems on the existing supporting structure
  • Multi-layer glazing in an opal, glare-reducing design; U-value = 1.6 W/(m²K), 37% light transmission and 39% total energy transmission
  • Double flap systems with CO2 remote and thermal release for SHEV function
  • Wind and rain sensors with optical display
  • CO2 alarm stations
  • SPC control for ventilation function
